Football Video

So it has been I while since I posted anything. I have good intentions, but man time flies by so fast. We are into our second full week of football now and have our first scrimmage this Saturday night. It seems like there just isn't enough practice time, of course, their never is. Our kids are working hard and improving everyday. Their technique is improving and they are really getting after each other. We are very excited to get started here.
There is nothing like football. As the days go by we find that a lot of kids like the idea of playing football, but it is a tough game and to play it you have to be tough, not just physically, but mentally. Your body takes a beating and it takes a great deal of commitment to go to class,come to practice, lift weights, and get your homework done. It just isn't for everybody, and that is ok. For some of us there is nothing like it in the world. You just can't replicate the emotion that this game can bring out in you anywhere else in life. It makes all the time and sacrifice worth it. Every season and for a brief moment, you share something that no one else in the world has and that is what it is all about, giving everything you have to be the best you can because you can't let your teammates down.
